Paramedic

Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dedicated, professional Paramedic to join our Emergency Department (ED) team. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Paramedic performs a variety of duties to assist the nursing staff and physicians in rendering patient care in the Emergency Department. This role provides patient care within a defined scope of practice that includes observation, assessment, and specified treatments and procedures.

Requirements:

Current Paramedic Licensure for State of Missouri BLS certification Current training in Advanced Life Support (PALS and ACLS); OR must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Education requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role. An annual influenza vaccination is required. Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.
