Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Paramedic is responsible for providing advanced life support (ALS) emergency medical care at a military and law enforcement training facility. This position delivers rapid assessment, treatment, stabilization, and medical support for students, staff, contractors, and visitors participating in high-risk training operations. Duties include patient assessment, advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, trauma care, and coordination with local transporting EMS agencies and hospitals when higher levels of care are required. In addition to emergency response responsibilities, paramedics support operational readiness through equipment maintenance, documentation, training support, safety monitoring, and participation in emergency preparedness activities. Personnel are expected to maintain professionalism, sound clinical judgment, and exceptional customer service while operating in dynamic training environments. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to changing operational needs, and function effectively alongside security, fire brigade, military, and law enforcement personnel.RESPONSIBILITIES
