Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take your expertise in educational psychology to an impactful setting supporting students and educators alike. This contract opportunity is perfect for School Psychologists passionate about fostering positive learning environments and helping students overcome academic, emotional, and social challenges. You'll partner with dedicated staff, conduct assessments, and advocate for students' wellbeing—making a meaningful difference every day.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid NC licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a School Psychologist Prior experience in educational or K-12 settings preferred Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing interventions, and interpreting data Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Excellent written and verbal communication abilities A passion for supporting inclusive practices and student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for referred students Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed Serve as a resource for school personnel regarding student mental health, emotional wellbeing, and academic supports Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with state and federal regulations Participate in eligibility, intervention, and planning meetings to drive student success By contributing your skills and commitment to a vibrant school community, you'll be valued as an integral resource for students' growth and achievement.
