Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic emergency medical team as a Paramedic, where your expertise will directly impact lives during critical moments. In this vital role, you will provide advanced pre-hospital care, perform patient assessments, and deliver life-saving interventions in diverse environments. Your dedication and skill will help ensure swift, effective treatment for patients experiencing urgent health crises. Responsibilities Provide advanced emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including accident scenes, hospitals, and transport vehicles Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiology evaluations Manage airway techniques and perform airway management procedures to ensure patient breathing stability Administer medications and injections following established protocols while maintaining aseptic techniques Operate emergency medical equipment (DME) such as ventilators, monitors, and IV supplies during patient care and transport Perform critical care transport for patients requiring specialized medical attention between facilities like Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers Document all patient interactions accurately and thoroughly in compliance with medical terminology standards and legal requirements Requirements Valid EMT certification with extensive experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Proven experience in critical care environments such as hospital emergency rooms or intensive care units Demonstrated proficiency in airway management, venipuncture, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols Experience with triage procedures at high-acuity facilities such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers Ability to perform physical examinations and physical lifting safely in urgent care situations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate emergency vehicles safely during urgent transports Strong communication skills for patient assessment documentation and coordination with healthcare teams Join us to make a difference where every second counts! Pay:
$25.50 - $28.00 per hour
