As a Paramedic/PHRN, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical interventions, ensuring patient safety, and supporting seamless communication with hospitals and emergency services. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patients' conditions quickly and accurately. Administer medications via injection, manage airways, and execute critical care procedures. Operate and monitor medical devices, including ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps, with precision. Conduct venipuncture for blood draws or medication administration while maintaining aseptic techniques. Safely transport patients while continuously monitoring their condition and communicating vital information to receiving hospital staff. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, medical history, and treatment provided in compliance with healthcare standards. Drive emergency vehicles safely under urgent conditions, demonstrating the ability to handle heavy loads when necessary for patient transport. Support triage efforts at the scene to prioritize patient care based on injury or illness severity. Qualifications Valid Paramedic/ PHRN certification with extensive experience in emergency medicine settings. Experience working in both rural and high-volume EMS systems is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency procedures. Skilled in airway management techniques, medication administration, venipuncture, and physical examinations. Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments accurately under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
