Duties:

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients in need
• Assess the condition of patients and perform necessary medical procedures
• Administer medication and provide basic or advanced support as needed
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and aseptic technique to ensure proper patient care
• Manage airways and assist with ventilation as necessary
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity of condition
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff to provide accurate patient information during transport

Skills:

• Proficient in patient assessment techniques to quickly evaluate and prioritize care
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to understand the body's systems and functions
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures for seamless patient handoff
• Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
• Ability to maintain aseptic technique to prevent infection transmission
• Competent in airway management techniques, including intubation and suctioning
• Skilled in medication administration, including dosage calculation and IV therapy
• Excellent patient care skills, including compassion, empathy, and effective communication
• Proficient in triage procedures to efficiently allocate resources based on patient needs
• Certified in basic life support (BLS) techniques, including CPR and defibrillation ```
