Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding summer school role supporting student growth and learning as a paraprofessional. This contract position focuses on providing essential assistance to a homebound learner, helping facilitate virtual occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), and speech-language pathology (SLP) sessions. The assignment runs from June 1st through July 16th, with daily hours from 11:45am to 2:45pm—ideal for those seeking meaningful work and a balanced summer schedule.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting, preferably supporting special education or related services Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and basic technology troubleshooting Patient, positive, and encouraging approach when working with students one-on-one Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate between the student and therapy professionals Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate confidentiality with sensitive student information
Key Responsibilities:
