Job Description
Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 or small group support to students within the Focus Program. Assist lead teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans. Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily transitions. Help maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the special education team.
Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (MN state requirements for Paraprofessionals, such as ParaPro assessment or 60+ college credits, may apply depending on specific placement).Experience:
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges, is highly preferred.Attributes:
Strong patience, adaptability, and a "student-first" mindset.Service Delivery:
