Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role supporting students' growth and development as a Paraprofessional in an engaging school environment near Wybark, OK. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for compassionate, dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special needs. With hours from 7:30am-3:30pm, you'll collaborate closely with lead teachers and supervisors, working both one-on-one and in resource classroom settings. Your primary mission will be to help facilitate student learning and achievement in alignment with individual education plans (IEP) and planning and placement team (PPT) directives. If you thrive in a supportive team and possess strong experience in special education or behavioral support, this position offers rewarding daily connections with students and educators alike.
Responsibilities:
Provide support tailored to the student's unique needs, with a focus on promoting engagement and learning. Implement accommodations and assistive strategies to support the student's academic and communication abilities. Collaborate closely with teachers and other educational staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Monitor the student's progress and report observations to inform instructional adjustments. Foster social and behavioral skills development through consistent and patient interaction.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Oklahoma Paraprofessional Certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators and support the student's needs.
