Mail Fax-860-889-0040 St. Patrick Cathedral School Email- 211 Broadway Subject Line- Kindergarten Para Norwich, Ct. 06360 Roles and Responsibilities St. Patrick Cathedral School is searching for an enthusiastic Kindergarten Paraprofessional dedicated to creating an atmosphere that encourages a love of learning, while following the Mission of Catholic Education and the curriculum of the Norwich Diocese. He or she would be responsible for developing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional growth, and preparing students for kindergarten. An active Catholic, knowledgeable of his/her faith.

Instructional Support:

helping with teaching new concepts, reinforcing lessons, and answering student questions.

Classroom Management:

enforcing rules, managing student behavior, and keeping the classroom organized.

Student Supervision:

supervising students during transitions, lunch, recess, and field trips.

Basic Caregiving:

helping with personal care tasks like toileting, handwashing, and dressing.

Create a positive learning environment:

being a role model for students supporting the teacher in creating age-appropriate activities, and working well with parents and colleagues. Utilizes technology Works well with faculty and staff Bachelor's Degree and Para Pro Assessment Required. Some Experience Preferred But Not Required.

Pay:

$22.34 - $26.91 per hour
