Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school setting High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in education or special education is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, educators, and families Patience, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students overcome challenges Ability to follow teacher direction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional support to students under the guidance of classroom teachers and special education staff Assist with classroom management, helping to maintain a welcoming and respectful environment Support students one-on-one and in small groups, adapting strategies to meet individual learning needs Aid in the implementation of academic and behavioral interventions Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources Encourage positive student behavior and active participation Gain rewarding hands-on experience in education and make a meaningful impact in students lives each day.
