Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Soliant has an opening for a contracted Paraprofessional in the New Oxford, Pennsylvania area. This position is for the 2025-2026 Summer. Soliant offers Weekly Pay, guaranteed hours, and an exceptional Health Benefits & 401k package. : Full-Time Onsite Please inquire for more information
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or Equivalent. Must obtain PA School Clearances that are updated within one calendar year of start date. Experience working with children. Desire to help special education students.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Ability to support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and parents. Ability to adapt instructional strategies, materials, and resources to meet diverse learning needs. Proficient in assessing and monitoring student progress through formal and informal assessment methods. Knowledge of specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and resources for students with special needs. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning abilities. Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to effectively support classroom dynamics and individual student needs. This position is available to be filled immediately.
