Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives as a dedicated paraprofessional, behavioral technician (BT), or registered behavior technician (RBT) this school year! This full-time contract opportunity offers hands-on experience supporting learners from ASAP through the end of the school year in June 2025. Work collaboratively in a welcoming educational community, all under the guidance of a Special Education Teacher and school administrators. You'll play a vital role in helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom—including assisting with bus riding duties. There are two positions available, and at least one must be filled by a male BT or RBT, bringing the right support and mentorship to the student group.
What You Bring:
Previous experience working with students in a school or behavioral health setting (required)
For BTs:
40-hour RBT training completed
For RBTs:
active RBT certification required Energetic, patient, and adaptable demeanor Team-oriented approach with strong communication skills Passion for supporting student growth and well-being No specific license required for paraprofessional or PCA roles Commitment to full-time hours, Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3:30pm
