Job Description
Dot Foods Inc. • Mount Sterling, IL, United States If you enjoy the excitement and challenge of warehouse work, but not interested in operating heavy machinery, a Dot Foods Parcel Handler position may be just what you're looking for. As a Parcel Handler, you'll package and load cases for one of the fastest-growing areas of our business: single-case fulfillment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Package and re-package cases and "eaches" to be shipped via small carrier Send office mail and supplies out via FedEx Print package labels and track daily production and shipment information Maintain and track packaging supplies Process returnsYOU MUST HAVE
Ability to pass standard physical abilities test to meet physical demands of the job High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience Effective math and organization skills Ability to work independently as well as within a team environmentYOU MAY ALSO HAVE
Prior warehouse experience Experience in working in a team environment as well as individually Prior forklift experience Prior experience working with computers and/or warehouse systemsROLE SPECIFICS
Indoor work with temperatures that range from -5 to above 100 degrees with humidity; majority of the time will be spent in a 34-degree environment Extensive standing and walking warehouse shift work as needed, meeting warehouse production standardsWHO WE ARE
