Department Culture Rec & Tourism-State Parks Opening Date 05/06/2026 Closing Date 5/16/2026 11:59 PM Central About this Job The Office of State Parks (OSP) serves the citizens of Louisiana and visitors by preserving and interpreting natural areas of unique or exceptional scenic value, planning, developing and operating sites that provide outdoor recreation opportunities in natural surroundings, preserving and interpreting historical and scientific sites of statewide importance and administering intergovernmental programs related to outdoor recreation and trails. The purpose of this position is to complete various physical, custodial, and/or maintenance tasks to include cleaning, removing litter and trash, cleaning various buildings, operating equipment, and assisting with the public. This posting will be used to fill three (3) positions. Minimum Qualifications No experience or training required. Performs custodial duties necessary to maintain clean and sanitary conditions of cabins, meeting room, office, and other aspects of the park. Assist with check in's with guests for campsites and cabins. Answers phone calls and questions regarding reservations. Provides a high level of customer service. Ensure trash and litter is cleaned up throughout the park. Assists with maintenance as needed.Position-Specific Details:
