Department Culture Rec & Tourism-State Parks Opening Date 05/07/2026 Closing Date 5/21/2026 11:59 PM Central About this Job The Office of State Parks (OSP) serves the citizens of Louisiana and visitors by preserving and interpreting natural areas of unique or exceptional scenic value, planning, developing, and operating sites that provide outdoor recreation opportunities in natural surroundings, preserving and interpreting historical and scientific sites of statewide importance, and administering intergovernmental programs related to outdoor recreation and trails. The purpose of this position is to complete various physical, custodial, and/or maintenance tasks, including cleaning, removing litter and trash, cleaning various facilities, operating equipment, and assisting the public. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:

Performs custodial duties necessary to maintain clean and sanitary conditions of facilities. Cleans the interior and exterior of facilities at the site. Assist in upkeep of site grounds and facilities. Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools. Assists in the collection of appropriate fees from site visitors. Provides a high level of customer service and assists customers with inquiries. Assists with maintaining grounds such as mowing grass, collecting litter, general maintenance, and emptying trash receptacles.

Work Schedule:
