Parking Lot Attendant / Valet / Parking Concierge

We are looking for Parking Lot Attendants/Valet/Parking Concierge to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the airport front curb, while delivering a service level that exceeds customer expectations. You will be responsible for greeting guests, collecting payment, completing car counts, ensuring facility cleanliness and gate inspections. The Parking Lot Attendant works closely with fellow team members, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained at all times. This is an amazing part-time opportunity! Responsibilities and Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Act as traffic controller to direct guests and keep curb clear. Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift. Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed: assist guests. Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility or Ground Transportation Manager Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to Ground Transportation Manager or Shift Lead as necessary. Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to Ground Transportation Manager or Shift Lead. Always communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates. Always maintain a professional appearance. Perform Gate inspections and complete appropriate paperwork.

Additional Responsibilities:

Work as Valet which includes: Interact and communicate with customers and provide great customer service. Safely operate, park and retrieve vehicles. Accurately complete Paperwork as necessary (5-part Valet tickets) Must be able to stand for 4+ hours for part time and 8 hours for full time. Must be able to maintain professionalism with high profile clientele Work as Parking Concierge which includes: Answer questions for passengers in the baggage claim area. Assist passengers with Ground transportation and parking questions. Return Valet vehicles and process payment both cash and credit card.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

At least 18 years of age. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with previous customer service experience preferred. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, often outdoors in various weather conditions, often exposed to car fumes in garage, and changes in temperature. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Mechanical Aptitude. Computer Skills including Microsoft Office programs. Clear verbal communication skills to interact with customers, provide directions, and enforce parking policies. Ability to drive a standard transmission is a plus. Other Requirements This position requires a Federal Governement background investigation to acquire and maintain a Sterile Side Airport access (SIDA) badge. Valid Driver's License. Driving record will be required. This position is subject to pre-employment and post incident drug screenings. Must be willing to wear the required uniform, including company-provided items, and maintain a clean, professional appearance in line with company grooming standards.
