17.00-18.00 Oak Park Estates Assisted Living and Memory care has 16 bedrooms designed to be a home like setting. We are small, and provide detailed care to our residents. A place where we can get to know the residents and their families. Our size allows us to focus on the details of each resident to ensure we can provide the best care possible, and we are hiring! We are looking for reliable med managers ! We are hiring for 3rd shift 10pm-6am shifts weekdays and weekends for full-time or part time employment. Working every other weekend and every other holiday. We are looking for a competent reliable Caregiver/med manager to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. Candidate must be reliable and must be on time. Candidate must have references from previous employers. Responsibilities Help clients take prescribed medication Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Help clients with physical therapy exercises Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able) Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Proven experience as a caregiver Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance High school diploma or equivalent
