Part-Time Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeping Assistant Martin Exteriors, Inc. | Roscoe, IL Martin Exteriors, Inc. is seeking an experienced, steady, and highly accountable accounting professional to oversee and lead our internal accounting operations. This is a leadership role responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of multiple company entities while supporting a fast-paced roofing and siding operation. The position continues to evolve as our company grows, but the consistent foundation of this role includes: Managing multiple sets of company books Full oversight of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Payroll processing using ADP Payroll processing using Quickbooks online Audit preparation and financial documentation 1099 preparation and year-end reporting support Administration of company health insurance and retirement plans Job costing accuracy Verifying crew eligibility and compliance documentation Supporting onboarding of sales representatives Maintaining strong internal financial controls Immediately oversee and guide an Office Assistant who supports bookkeeping functions, while helping recruit and develop a dedicated long-term accounting team member Provide leadership, structure, and accountability within the Accounting Department from day one This individual will oversee the Accounting Department and help guide process improvement, organization, and accountability across financial operations.

Required:

Proven payroll experience using ADP Proven payroll experience using Quickbooks Online Strong, stable work history (this is not an entry-level role) Demonstrated experience in a leadership or oversight capacity High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Strongly Preferred:
