We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part-Time Armed Security Officer to join our team at a Church in Lake Wylie, SC . This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in protecting high-value assets while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for church staff and members. Position Overview As an Armed Security Officer, you will be stationed on-site at the church, serving as a visible deterrent to crime and a reassuring presence for staff and patrons. Your responsibilities will include monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and enforcing security protocols to ensure a secure environment. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, sound judgment, and a commitment to professionalism at all times.

Pay:

Starting at $21.00 Schedule Sunday, 6:45am-12:30pm Tuesday and Thursday, 8am-9:30pm •Must be flexible as additional days will be needed for this site upon the client's request. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises. Respond to incidents and manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor. Collaborate with law enforcement when required and maintain accurate incident reports. Deliver excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with leadership and professionalism.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older Experience with a handgun is preferred Must be able to pass a drug screening Must be able to pass a background check/criminal history Must possess a smartphone with an active cellular data plan Must possess a valid driver's license Must be able to work independently Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
