Job Description

Kiddie Academy has been a leader in education-based child care for over 40 years, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. We provide full-time care, before- and after-school programs, and summer camps, all grounded in our proprietary Life Essentials curriculum that promotes early learning and lifelong curiosity. Our dedicated team is committed to nurturing growth and fostering a love of learning in every child. We are seeking a passionate Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop essential skills while ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout their day. Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math, and social-emotional development Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through routines Engage with children during play, learning exercises, and daily routines to foster curiosity and independence Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and progress Contribute to curriculum development efforts aligned with early childhood education best practices Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Ability to work part-time hours reliably while maintaining a lively, positive attitude Join us as a Part-Time Assistant Teacher and be part of an inspiring environment where your passion for early childhood development makes a real difference!
