Part-Time Babysitter Needed for Two Young Children (Dedham, MA)

We're looking for a caring, organized, and dependable babysitter to help care for our two children, ages 20 months and 4 years old. We're hoping to find someone with a warm, energetic personality who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and creating a calm, nurturing environment. Our 4-year-old has physical and developmental disabilities and needs assistance with mobility and certain daily tasks. Experience with special needs is appreciated, though we also welcome someone who is eager to learn and comfortable following established routines. Responsibilities Engage the children in playtime and simple activities (both structured and free play) Supervise snack time and dinner (meals will be prepared in advance) Assist with bedtime routines when needed Help with light cleanup after meals and play Provide extra support for our 4-year-old with mobility and daily tasks Help maintain an organized home environment during downtime by folding laundry, tidying play areas, and helping keep children's spaces orderly Qualifications Experience caring for young children required Organized, kind, energetic, and dependable Warm personality and genuinely loving toward children Comfortable caring for two young children at once Strong communication skills and ability to follow routines Experience with special needs children preferred, but willingness to learn is equally valued

Schedule & Compensation Location:

Thursdays:

3:30-7:00

PM Saturday or Sunday:

9:30 AM-2:00

PM Compensation:

$25/hour MassHealth has authorized $20/hour through the Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Program for care related to our 4-year-old's disabilities, and we are personally supplementing an additional $5/hour.
