As a key team member, you will promote product knowledge through customer interaction , assist with merchandising, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product options with enthusiasm and professionalism Educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and effects to support informed purchasing decisions Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipt issuance while maintaining attention to detail with retail math and cash management Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are presented attractively according to company standards Promote upselling opportunities by recommending complementary products or higher-tier options to maximize customer satisfaction and sales volume Maintain a clean, organized store environment by managing stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations Demonstrate excellent communication skills and phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person; support bilingual customers as needed Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store or similar environments where customer service is key Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Strong communication skills complemented by friendly phone etiquette Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team operations and maintaining a positive store atmosphere Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and standing for extended periods during shifts Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions; experience conducting product demos is highly valued A proactive attitude towards upselling and merchandising to enhance sales performance Join us in creating an inviting environment where education meets exceptional service!
