Position is subject to adequate enrollment and is a temporary summer position No fringe benefits Summer Camp Cougar program location is Mesnier Primary School Summer employment is a commitment to work all days in the session Time Frame Tentative program dates are July 6

• July 31, 2026 (20 days) Program for grades K-5 will be in session Monday
• Friday, 7:00 a.m.
• 6:00 p.m. Facilitator may work Monday
• Friday, up to 5 hours/day, and may be asked to work more than 5 hours on occasion Dates may be adjusted by administration as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or equivalent is required Prior experience supervising children in a camp, educational or daycare program is preferred Effective communication skills (oral and written) and ability to follow written or oral instructions to implement lessons and activities based on program goals and objectives and the needs and qualities of students are required The ability to listen well and respond to questions from parents, staff, and students in a positive, professional manner is required The ability to maintain confidential information is required The ability to effectively supervise school-age children, redirect and interact positively with students is required The ability to develop effective working relationships with school-age students and the school community is required The knowledge of working with children with disabilities is required The ability to perform essential functions of the position is required The ability to be dependable and punctual is required The ability to solve problems, and respond to stressful situations in a calm, caring manner are required The ability to work with a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural population is required All applicants must apply through Affton's PowerSchool Applicant Tracking website at: https://affton.schoolspring.com External candidates must have a resume entered into Applicant Tracking, prior to the closing date , in order to be considered for a position.
