Part-Time Child Behavior Therapist

Job Title:

Behavior Therapist (BT)/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Join Our Team and Make A Difference! No prior experience or certification needed! Are you interested in working with children and helping them thrive? Lake Effect ABA is fast-growing practice looking for dedicated Behavior Therapists (BTs) / Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism.

Schedule :

Monday and Friday 9-12 (6 hours per week)

What You'll Do:

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their homes, following individualized treatment plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Use positive reinforcement strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. Accurately collect data using an electronic data collection system and document session notes. Follow behavior support plans (BSPs) reduce challenging behaviors. Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and BCBA supervisors to support the child's progress. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's may be required in certain locations due to our insurance contracts). Passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives. Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the designated service area. Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. Ability to pass a background check and meet all state requirements for working with children.
