This role offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to provide vital personal and medical care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for individuals in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care settings. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will support residents with their daily activities and foster a warm, engaging environment that promotes independence and well-being. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed documentation within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies. Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist residents during meal times to encourage proper nutrition. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met. Skills Proven experience in nursing home, assisted living, or home & community care environments with a focus on senior or long-term care. Knowledge of ADL assistance, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care. Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of resident care activities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic caregiving settings such as group homes or personal care homes. Strong communication skills to effectively support residents' needs and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Experience with behavioral management techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments. Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in assisted living or home care are advantageous.
