Part Time Coffee Shop Support

Overview We're looking for a friendly, reliable person to help our coffee shop run smoothly during the busy summer season. This position focuses on food prep, stocking, cleaning, organizing, dishes, helping with bakery/lunch items, and general support around the coffee shop. This role does not include making espresso drinks or operating the espresso machine, but it is an important part of keeping service moving and creating a great experience for our guests. This position is would be "mid shift" support (for ex, not limited to: 8-12, 7-1, etc.) generally 4- 6 hrs /shift at $12/hr plus tips. Employee discount and shift benefits available. Responsibilities Preparing and packaging food or bakery items Stocking cups, lids, syrups, napkins, retail coffee, and supplies Keeping work areas clean and organized Washing dishes and helping with general cleanup Assisting baristas during busy times Helping customers as needed (ie taking orders, passing on concerns to management, answering questions, etc.) Requirements No experience necessary, but prior experience in customer or food service is a plus. Must be available part-time summer hours, including some weekends (especially Sundays) Friendly, reliable, and willing to help where needed Able to work in fast paced environment during busy summer hours Able to lift and carry items such as boxes, dishes, bakery trays, supplies Able to follow directions and complete tasks independently Comfortable interacting with customers when needed Must follow basic food safety and cleanliness guidelines
