Part-time Part-time Job Description Quaker Digital Academy Position:

Part-Time Custodian Available Nightly Beginning at 4:00 pm Up to 25 hours per week

Description:

Under immediate or general supervision, the part-time custodian will perform various manual, skilled, and semiskilled tasks involved in cleaning building(s ). Will also perform other related duties as assigned and as needed. Candidates must have at least 2 years of prior cleaning experience, be customer-service-oriented, and be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. The successful candidate must undergo a background check. Overview Vacuum all carpet areas nightly and mop tile floors Set up a routine to ensure proper building cleanliness Emptying trash cans nightly Clean and inspect all surfaces regularly Dusting all surfaces Ordering and organizing cleaning supplies Washing windows when necessary Collecting and taking out trash and recycling Ensures that doors and windows are locked, that lights are turned out, and light bulbs are replaced when required. Ability to perform manual labor involving lifting, dragging, turning, standing, bending, carrying, and stretching, often under adverse climatic conditions for extended periods. Ability to recognize potentially unsafe conditions and situations and report these to the proper supervisor. Clean and inspect restrooms to ensure proper cleanliness Clean and wash any necessary appliances in the kitchen area Able to use a computer to turn in time sheets Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
