Daycare Assistant Teacher - Amazing Grace Early Learning Center About Us Amazing Grace Early Learning Center is a Christ-centered child care center located in Oxford, FL. Our mission is to provide a positive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate Christian learning environment for children ages one year through pre-kindergarten. We are a professional, agile team committed to promoting the cognitive, emotional, and spiritual growth of every child in our care. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who is passionate about child development , early learning, and working within a faith-based environment. The Daycare Assistant Teacher will play a vital role in supporting the classroom environment, assisting with lesson implementation, and ensuring children are safe, engaged, and thriving. Daycare Assistant Teacher Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum based on early childhood education standards Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development Supervise children at all times, ensuring proper child safety and supervision protocols are followed Foster strong communication and relationships with families , providing regular updates on their child's growth and behavior Support daily routines, including meal times, toileting, rest periods, and structured learning activities Implement positive guidance strategies and behavior management techniques Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom setting Assist with assessments, observations, and documentation of children's developmental progress Daycare Assistant Teacher Requirements Prior experience in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or early learning center setting Understanding of early childhood development milestones and learning frameworks Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills DCF 45-hour training (preferred) CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children A passion for working with young children in a faith-based educational environment
