Part Time DDA Grounds Maintenance Three Rivers, MI 49093 $13.39 - $15.00 an hour - Part-time $13.39 - $15.00 an hour - Part-time The City of Three Rivers/Downtown Development Authority is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance person to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of the downtown district. This role is essential to ensuring a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and businesses. Key Responsibilities in the Downtown District Emptying public trash receptacles Picking up litter and debris Painting projects Supporting and/or leading small work crews for maintenance tasks Watering flowers and assisting with light landscaping (weeding, upkeep) Pressure washing sidewalks, streetscapes, and public amenities Maintaining public seating areas Assisting with event setup and teardown Organizing and maintaining storage areas as directed Performing other duties as assigned by the DDA Ability to operate a small tractor with water wagon Snow removal Qualifications Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, light landscaping) Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Dependable and punctual Ability to follow direction, work collaboratively as part of a team, and represent the DDA in a positive and professional manner. This position is a part-time, non-union position that offers flexible scheduling based on downtown maintenance, beautification projects, and community events. Hours will vary depending on seasonal and operational needs, with schedules typically ranging up to 19 hours per week and periods of limited or no scheduled hours possible during slower times. Evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required.

Requirements:

High School graduate or GED, MI Driver's License, related skills and experience.

Rate of Pay:

$13.39/hour, with the potential to increase to $15.00/hour based on performance and experience.
