Part-Time Exploration Friday Educator | Nature-Based Enrichment Born to Be Raised is a nature-rooted learning community for families seeking an intentional alternative to conventional education. We believe childhood should be active, meaningful, creative, and connected to the real world. Our signature Friday enrichment program extends that philosophy through hands-on experiences designed to help children create, explore, build, discover, and connect. We are seeking a warm, engaging, and creative educator to support this Fridays-only part-time role. This role could be a great fit for: educators seeking supplemental income homeschool educators retired teachers college students studying education or child development enrichment instructors creatives with experience working with children individuals seeking flexible part-time work with purpose What Makes This Different Our Friday enrichment program is designed around hands-on, engaging experiences that may include: nature exploration gardening cooking hands-on science art and creative projects building challenges practical life activities seasonal enrichment experiences movement and outdoor play We are looking for someone who can help create an experience children genuinely look forward to. Responsibilities Support and help facilitate Friday enrichment programming Engage children in hands-on, experiential learning activities Help maintain a warm, safe, organized learning environment Support outdoor and nature-based experiences Foster positive peer interactions and engagement Assist with setup, transitions, supervision, and cleanup Bring creativity, initiative, and positive energy to the program Collaborate with leadership and instructional staff Partner professionally with families as needed Qualifications Experience working with children required Educational, enrichment, or youth program experience is a plus Warm, dependable, engaging presence Comfort working outdoors in a nature-integrated environment CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable transportation Ability to meet applicable Texas program requirements Bonus if you bring strengths in: Art Music Gardening Cooking Science Theater Movement Nature Studies Crafting Practical Life Skills Specialty Enrichment Programming Schedule Part-Time | Fridays Only | During 2026/2027 school year Daytime hours based on program schedule. Additional optional opportunities may become available through: after-school programming substitute support seasonal or summer programming specialty enrichment offerings Compensation $20-$25/hour , based on experience and fit.
