Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and refining existing recipes to enhance flavor profiles and presentation. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and cleaning protocols. Manage food preparation tasks efficiently during service hours, including chopping, portioning, and plating. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery of orders, and effective communication. Uphold kitchen cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas regularly. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred, especially in fine dining settings. Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is a plus.
