Part-Time General Laborer

Overview:

Precision Aggregate is hiring a general laborer in Mesquite NV! The General Laborer is responsible for supporting daily aggregate production activities, including site maintenance, material handling, and assisting equipment operators. This position works outdoors in a physically demanding environment and follows all company safety standards and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking, sweeping, and material cleanup around plant and quarry areas. Assist with the operation of crushers, screens, conveyors, wash plants, and other aggregate processing equipment. Support equipment operators by staging materials, clearing work areas, and communicating site conditions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, washing down equipment, and ensuring walkways remain clear. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment, tightening hardware, and clearing material blockages. Follow all company, OSHA, and MSHA safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and reporting unsafe conditions. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, directing traffic flow, and ensuring safe movement of vehicles and equipment. Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard assessments. Perform other duties as assigned to support production and site operations.

Qualifications:

This is a safety sensitive position as the laborer will often work around live traffic and active heavy equipment and machinery. Travel is required. Must be able to work Nights/Days.
