Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Hourly Manager, where your leadership and passion for food service will drive exceptional customer experiences and smooth restaurant operations. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment. As a key team member, you will oversee daily restaurant functions, support staff training, and ensure high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Your proactive approach and enthusiasm will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members alike. Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction in a quick service & fast food restaurant setting Supervise staff, including training new team members, scheduling shifts, and providing ongoing coaching to promote team development Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control measures Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining cleanliness standards Assist with interviewing potential candidates and participating in hiring decisions to build a strong team environment Requirements Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management roles with supervising experience in a casual dining or quick service environment Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Demonstrated leadership abilities in team management, staff training & development, and shift management Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes is highly desirable Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us if you're passionate about leading teams in a vibrant restaurant setting!
