• Part-time IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Laboratory Technician position at its facility in Greeley, CO. Ideal candidates will possess the following:
• A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Microbiology or related field (preferred)
• Basic math skills
• Good attitude and willingness to work with others
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written directions
• Ability to regularly lift up to 20lbs
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory Laboratory Technician duties include: media/sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, washing glassware, general laboratory cleaning, and other duties as assigned. The pay range for this position is $17.00
• $19.

00 hourly (DOE). This is a part-time position eligible for the following benefits: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually) and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met). Part-time employees may be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week on average during an initial 5-month measurement period. This schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00pm to 9:30pm (with a lunch break).
