Through empowerment, self-care, and evidence-based treatment, we support children, individuals, families, and couples on their mental-health journey. We are currently seeking a part-time mental health therapist (1099 contractor) to join our team. Position Overview Part-time, contract (1099) position Flexible schedule — set your own hours Combination of in-office and telehealth services In-person availability required at least one day per week Office location: Parma / Seven Hills, Ohio Expected hours: 2-20 hours per week Please do not apply if you are unable to work in person at least one day per week. Licensure Requirements Active Ohio license or associate license required LPC, LPCC, LISW, LSW, LMFT, or equivalent Clean background check required Must be comfortable working with children Primary Responsibilities Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans Provide psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and counseling using individual, family, conjoint, and group modalities Educate and collaborate with families as appropriate Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Uphold confidentiality and comply with all ethical, professional, and regulatory standards Skills & Qualifications Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills Excellent documentation and organizational abilities Effective verbal and written communication Professionalism, empathy, and strong listening skills Ability to connect with and engage children Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care Compensation & Benefits $36-$56 per hour , based on experience and licensure Flexible scheduling Choose your own hours Supportive, collaborative team environment About Tree of Life Therapy & Self-Care We provide outpatient, individualized mental health care in a safe and supportive setting.
