Part-Time Office Assistant Location:
In-Office (Non-Remote)
Schedule:
Flexible; between 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (includes weekends and holidays)
The Role:
This is not your typical office environment . We are looking for a high-energy, composed, professional Office Assistant who thrives in a space that is anything but predictable. You will be the face and voice of our operations, managing a steady flow of walk-in visitors and phone inquiries. The ideal candidate is someone who maintains "grace under pressure" and can pivot between tasks at a moment's notice. Especially during our peak season , you won't just be behind a desk; you will be expected to jump into a wide variety of duties to keep operations running smoothly. If you enjoy a role where no two days are the same, this is for you.
Key Responsibilities Dynamic Support:
Take on a wide range of shifting duties—particularly during our busy peak season—to support the team and our members.
Front-of-House Management:
Greet walk-in traffic and manage a multi-line phone system with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
Financial Processing:
Accurately handle and record payment processing for members in person and by phone.
Project Support:
Execute various special projects assigned by management, ranging from research to organizational tasks.
Administrative Support:
Maintain a firm grasp of office policies and procedures while handling filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Technical Execution:
Utilize the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks, and operate standard office equipment.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a clerical or administrative role, preferred 2+ years.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and a typing speed of at least 60 WPM .
Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Adaptability:
A proven ability to shift priorities quickly and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Availability:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays , within the 8:00 AM
