Unarmed Security Guard - Entry point Guard Shack

We are seeking vigilant and reliable Security Guards to manage our facility's primary entry and exit points. In this role, you aren't just a gatekeeper; you are the first line of defense and the "face" of our site's safety. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a professional demeanor, and the ability to stay focused during independent shifts, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Access Monitoring:

Manage the flow of personnel, vehicles, and visitors through the designated entry/exit point from the guard shack.

Verification:

Confirm credentials, check identification, and log incoming/outgoing shipments or visitors according to site protocols.

Vigilance:

Maintain constant situational awareness to identify and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, or safety hazards.

Communication:

Act as a central point of contact for staff and emergency services; maintain a clear and concise daily activity log.

Professionalism:

Provide a polite but firm presence, ensuring all site rules are followed by every person entering the premises. Critical Staffing Policy (Read Carefully)

Mandatory Relief & Coverage:

To ensure 24-hour site security, it is strictly required that you remain on post until your relief arrives. In the event of a staff "call-out" or late arrival, you are required to stay a minimum of 4 hours past your scheduled shift to maintain coverage.

Requirements High level of attentiveness and the ability to remain focused during quiet periods. Punctuality and strict adherence to the assigned shift schedule. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Available Shifts Please review the following schedules carefully and indicate your preference during the application process: Shift 1 Working Sunday and Monday from 0600 to 1400. This position is off Tuesday through Saturday but requires being on-call during those days. Shift 2 Working Tuesday through Saturday from 0600 to 1400. This position is off Sunday and Monday. Shift 3 Working Thursday through Monday from 1400 to 2200. This position is off Tuesday and Wednesday. Shift 4 Working Tuesday and Wednesday from 1400 to 2200, then working Thursday and Friday from 2200 to 0600. This position is off Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Shift 5 Working Saturday through Wednesday from 2200 to 0600. This position is off Thursday and Friday.

Pay:

$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
