Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Part-Time On-Site Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for general maintenance duties to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our community. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with experience in facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and reactionary maintenance tasks throughout the property, adhering to HUD standards and regulations. Manage vendor relations and coordinate services as needed, ensuring compliance with HUD procurement requirements. Assist with property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with regulations. Conduct janitorial work to maintain cleanliness in common areas and facilities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field. Knowledge of HUD regulations and standards preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
