We operate three distinct concepts—Mood Food, Mood 'Wiches, and Kyopo—and we are looking for someone who excels in the art of traditional, scratch-made baking. If you have a passion for "good old-fashioned" desserts and enjoy the process of perfecting a recipe from scratch, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities Production:
Hand-craft a variety of classic desserts, including high-quality cakes, pies, cookies, and artisanal breads.Research & Development:
Lead recipe testing and development for new menu items across our three concepts.Quality Control:
Ensure every item meets our standards for taste, texture, and visual appeal, focusing on whole ingredients and traditional techniques.Innovation:
Collaborate with the Head Chef to introduce seasonal specials and signature items that align with our brand identities. Schedule Requirements This is a focused, part-time position with the following set schedule:Sundays:
Full shift required.Saturdays:
After 4:00 PM (as required based on production needs). This a part time position that can lead to a full time positionQualifications Proven Experience:
Extensive background as a Pastry Chef or Lead Baker, specifically with cakes, pies, yeast breads, and cookies.Creative Mindset:
Ability to take a concept from an idea to a tested, scalable recipe.Reliability:
Since this role covers specific weekend shifts, punctuality and the ability to work independently are essential.Pay:
