This is a hands-on role working closely with the Executive Chef to uphold refined standards of execution, consistency, and kitchen discipline in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This position is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in structured kitchens, values technique, and is passionate about delivering elevated, scratch-made cuisine in a polished but approachable dining setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and timing of service Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff while maintaining a strong, positive, and disciplined kitchen culture Oversee food preparation, line execution, and plating standards to maintain elevated presentation and consistency Assist with inventory control, ordering, cost management, and minimizing waste Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates with a focus on quality and refinement Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance standards Ensure smooth service flow during high-volume dinner and weekend operationsQualifications:
Prior experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Line Cook in an upscale casual or fine dining environment Strong foundation in food preparation, kitchen organization, and service execution Leadership experience with the ability to train, guide, and hold teams accountable Understanding of inventory management, food cost awareness, and kitchen efficiency Passion for cooking, detail, and consistency in a high-standard kitchen French or European culinary background is a plus, but not required This is a great opportunity for a chef looking to grow within a structured, quality-driven kitchen that values craft, discipline, and long-term development.Pay:
