Job Summary:
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
The Golf Course Club House Attendee greets golfers and guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner while providing direct knowledge of course. Checking golfers in, handling the set-up of tee times and serve as cashier for all pro shop merchandise. Excellent customer service and a good knowledge of the course is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are examples only and do not, by any means, include all of the duties that may be expected of this position. Greet and assist guests with check-in, inquiries, and requests Collect greens fees, rent golf carts and assist in membership questions Balances cash register and credit card processes each night Answer all incoming phone calls Handle cash transactions accurately on retail sales Make, adjust and cancel tee times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse area, inside and outside Understand course software and help guests/golfers navigate online platform Direct marshal and cart/range staff as required Coordination of tournaments and other golf programs Open communication with City Administrator on all golf course matters and operations
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS
Adhere to all city, course, and department written mandatory standards of operations, policies, and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc. Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time. Ability to focus attention on detail. Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits in all areas of the club. Have regular attendance and punctuality.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Prior golf course maintenance experience preferred. High school diploma/GED preferred.

The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high. The employee is consistently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
