Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant retail team. In this energetic role, you will lead daily store operations, inspire your team, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your leadership will drive sales, optimize inventory management, and uphold high standards of customer service and store presentation. Duties Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all departments Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to maximize sales opportunities Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction Supervise cashiering functions, including cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers Coordinate shift schedules, manage payroll records, and oversee employee orientation and training programs Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee recruitment, interviewing, and team development Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, merchandising, and store operations simultaneously Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, budgeting, and cash handling procedures Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising staff and managing store performance Exceptional communication skills paired with a friendly phone etiquette to engage customers and team members alike Prior experience in grocery or specialty retail stores is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in bookkeeping and administrative duties Join us as a Retail Assistant Manager where your energy fuels our success!
