! This position is Monday-Friday for any after-school program that needs a sub! The task of a SAS Substitute is to support high-quality school-age programming through leadership, staff support, program oversight, and partnership development while ensuring compliance with Learning Grove standards and state requirements. Key Responsibilities Support daily program operations and provide leadership across multiple sites as needed. Supervise and support staff, enrichment providers, and volunteers. Provide ratio coverage and substitute support for regional sites. Ensure safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environments for children. Support curriculum implementation, enrichment activities, and positive behavior practices. Maintain compliance with licensing, STARS/SUTQ, accreditation, and grant requirements. Oversee documentation, incident reporting, budgets, invoices, and program resources. Support staff training, coaching, and professional development goals. Build positive relationships with schools, families, staff, and community partners. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, teamwork, and cultural responsiveness. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Some post-secondary education preferred. Previous experience working with children preferred. Physical Requirements Lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to bend, move frequently, and walk stairs. Ability to remain active and engaged with children throughout the day. Why Learning Grove?
