Part-Time Shop Hand

Delta Disposal is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Shop Hand to join our growing team in Escanaba, Michigan. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is interested in the heavy truck or diesel industry. Responsibilities Greasing and performing basic maintenance on trucks and equipment Assisting mechanics with repairs and shop tasks Cleaning and organizing the shop, tools, and parts inventory Helping maintain a clean and safe yard Cleaning and delivering residential roll-out carts General labor and support duties as assigned Qualifications Some automotive, diesel, or mechanical experience preferred Valid driver's license required CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and attention to detail What We Offer Starting pay: $20.00 per hour Monday through Friday schedule No nights or weekends Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate Work with a locally owned and growing company serving the central U.P. for over 50 years If you're looking for an opportunity to gain experience and grow with a dependable local company, we'd love to hear from you.
