With specialized expertise in the instruction of students with special learning needs within the mainstream classroom, the Specialist collaborates with the site principal and teachers to ensure that the needs of all students are met. The Special Education Teacher works under the direction of the Educational Specialist and the School Site Principal to develop a comprehensive suite of resources and processes for the identification, placement, and support of students across the spectrum of academic ability. In addition, the Special Education Teacher will maintain and monitor special education data for their students. Job Description /
