Job Description

Job Summary Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented, part time Interior Window Treatments Install Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the professional installation of a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and shutters at clients homes and businesses. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a smoke/vape free work environment. Candidates will need to pass a background check and must have a clean MVR. Duties Safely and accurately install a wide range of window treatments including blinds, shades, shutters on various types of windows and wall surfaces Read installation instructions to execute projects accurately Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting or installing large or bulky window coverings or components • Conduct pre-installation checks, including accurate measurements, hardware verification, and ensuring all necessary tools/materials are available. Handle adjustments, troubleshooting, and minor modifications on-site to ensure proper fit and function. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at the client's location. Communicate professionally with clients, providing basic product use and care instructions. Load, transport, and unload products and tools to job sites. Appropriate handling and lifting of large or bulky window coverings. Document completed work, including taking before-and-after photos when required. Report installation issues, damaged materials, or safety concerns promptly. Uphold company standards for workmanship, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. Skills Prior experience with any of the skills listed below is great. On the job training is available for a candidate that is willing to learn. Clean and neat appearance. Proficiency with hand tools (tape measure, screwdrivers, hammers, levels) and power tools (drills, saws) for installation tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during project setups or material handling • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working on ladders and standing on scaffolding up to 12 feet high. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet in Winfield, PA each work day. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. This job requires constant standing, bending, carrying up to 50 lbs, lifting, raising arms over your head, being on the floor to unpack and assemble shades, being able to step up and down ladders constantly, fine motor skills with hands (picking up screws, using hand tools such as pliers and screwdrivers).
