Part-time Purpose:

The WAY Fellowship Church (TWFC) is seeking a part-time Worship Musician to support our existing music ministry and help grow a vibrant contemporary worship ministry. This individual will work closely with church leadership and volunteer musicians to create meaningful, Christ-centered worship experiences that reflect the vision and mission of TWFC.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a committed follower of Jesus Christ who is continuing to grow spiritually and mature in faith, with the ability to model and mentor Christian character to others.

General Qualifications:

Must be a born-again Christian Must meet the biblical qualifications for church leadership outlined in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5 Committed to the church's vision, values, and beliefs Able to work effectively as part of the praise team Relational, encouraging, and servant-hearted in ministry Joyful spirit with a good sense of humor Able to work independently when necessary with minimal supervision Proficient in leading worship vocally Available to communicate and collaborate with the Senior Pastor and worship volunteers as needed Experience leading worship in a contemporary setting preferred High school diploma or GED required; continued music education preferred

Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership, vision, and passion in the area of music and worship ministry in alignment with the mission and vision of TWFC.2. Help create and implement new worship opportunities that support and enhance the church's ministry goals.3. Work with the worship team to plan and lead well-organized, engaging Sunday worship services.4. Attend weekly staff meetings when available and participate in the planning and implementation of church programs that support the mission and vision of TWFC. If unable to attend, coordinate a weekly meeting with the appropriate team members.5. Assist in planning, preparing, and leading worship for special events outside of regular Sunday services, as availability allows. Additional Responsibilities 6. Collaborate with the team regarding any issues or needs related to the worship ministry7. Perform other related duties as assigned8. This position is expected to require approximately 3 hours per week

$20.00 per hour
