The Parts Administrative Specialist performs a variety of routine and non-routine administrative tasks and works closely with engineering, cost accounting, customer service, and strategic distribution partners to manage sellable parts, kits, and assemblies through the parts department. Works closely with strategic distribution partners to improve parts ordering processes, inventory, order quantities, and changes to parts.

Activities including department outings, holiday parties, and our annual company-wide Thanksgiving Dinner What You'll Be Doing Work closely with Cost Accounting to answer questions Work closely with external distribution partners for updated parts information, recommended ordering quantities Communicate with strategic distribution partners status of parts orders Assists with pricing and discounting of parts, kits, and assemblies Determines how to process new Product Change Notices (PCNs) through Service Parts Updates JDE to coordinate with item status Manages JDE Flash messages for order entry Manages end of lifecycle parts, kits, and assemblies Field Customer Service technical parts questions Works closely with service readiness engineer on new PCNs. Backup for Parts Processing Coordinator and Service Scheduler Escalation contact for internal and external parts questions Create documentation of process and best practices and willingly teach backups. Perform other duties assigned

What We're Looking For:

Associate's degree in business or relevant field preferred 3-5 years administrative experience in a warehouse environment Basic knowledge of ERP system Proficient in MS Office Suite Strong organizational skills including strict attention to detail, efficiency, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adjust schedule as needed Strong oral and written communication skills.
