Automotive Parts Counter Sales Associate Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counter Sales Associate to assist customers and service technicians with automotive parts selection, ordering, and sales. The ideal candidate has strong automotive knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist retail and wholesale customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories Identify parts using catalogs, VIN numbers, computer lookup systems, and manufacturer databases Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and exchanges Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels Receive, label, and organize incoming shipments Communicate with technicians and service advisors regarding parts availability Recommend related products and upsell accessories when appropriate Keep the parts department clean and organized Monitor backorders and follow up with customers on order status Operate point-of-sale and inventory management systems About Apple Chevrolet Since 1963, Apple Chevrolet has proudly served as a leading Chevrolet dealership in the Chicagoland area.
